"We’re rearranging our service to give you and the family all the lockdown tunes and shows you need, in one convenient place," says the team at Deezer.

According to the streaming platform, the channel is designed specifically to serve listeners' needs, while on lockdown or practicing social distancing. It provides radio channels as well as playlists.

The new music playlists include:
  • The great indoors: audio with the aim to help listeners in their home routine, which can be working, studying, cooking, exercising or cleaning.
  • Your music therapy: audio which aims to help listeners to stay relaxed, keep calm or feel good and positive.
  • Keep the kids upbeat: audio which aims to entertain children who are at home.
Additionally, the channel will provide access to various radio stations to provide listeners with the latest news.

"What we're seeing around the world is unprecedented," says Frédéric Antelme, Deezer's VP content and productions. "Everybody's doing their part and it looks like we're all going to be locked down for a while."

"Deezer wants to help music and podcast fans around the world weather the storm. We've adapted our product so that you can find the right content. We've got you covered so that you and your family can focus on the things that matter," adds Antelme.

Individuals are encouraged to stay at home and listen to the channel, which is available here.
