The awards have made the fee for the 2020 event free for freelancers, provided that they submit a letter from their editor that confirms their work. The letter must additionally prove that the publication is aligned with media associations. PSS members will be required to pay an R80 entrance fee.
Judging will take place between Monday, 27 July and Monday, 3 August. This means that there will be no date extensions in 2020.
The awards event will be a virtual event to be held on Thursday, 15 October.
