The PRISA PRISM Awards, which celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2022, recognises excellence in the public relations and communication sector. 

Award-winning work is required to reflect the highest communication standards, while demonstrating the creativity and skills necessary to build, strengthen and maintain the relationships between organisations and their target audiences.

The core responsibility of the adjudication panel will be to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of:
  • public relations and communication professionals
  • consultancies
  • corporate companies
  • private institutions
  • NPO / NPC's
  • local, provincial and national government bodies, and
  • parastatals.
To ensure that the adjudication process is fair and transparent, the awards have indicated that it is introducing two judging phases. The first will be online, where your will be asked to review and score entries and submit your score sheet.

The second phase will involve collaboration with other judges on judging day to finalise the results. The dates are as follows:
  • Judges briefing: Thursday, 24 March — details TBC
  • Online judging: Friday, 25 March — Friday, 29 April
  • Submission of online scoring: Friday, 29 April by 11:59
  • Final judging: Friday, 6 May — venue details TBC
  • SACoTY presentations / judging: Friday, 20 May — venue details TBC
Should an applicant's application to be a judge succeed, they will be invited as a VIP guest to the PRISA PRISM Awards trophy handover event in June.

To apply to be a judge in the awards, individuals are encouraged to submit a brief profile of their CV to louise@prisa.co.za. The closing date for applications is Monday, 7 March.
