Orange Juice Design is a small graphic design agency, made up of a handpicked group of creative specialists. Founded in 1996 by Garth Walker, the company has one single passion – serious graphic design. For Orange Juice, quality designs are determined by practising three universal principles: keep it simple, do it different, and make it shine.
Their portfolio includes a range of identities, including corporate, consumer, African aesthetics and public service company identity logos. Clients include First National Bank, McCarthy Limited, East Coast Radio, Mr Price, Multichoice, Supersport United, Volkswagen SA, bp South Africa, Sun International Liberty Life, and South African Roads Agency, amongst others. Orange Juice also designs reports, booklets, and brochures, as well as packaging for household-names such as Canderel, Ego, Tastic, Fanta, Huggies and Sunlight.
Although Orange Juice serves some of South Africa’s biggest brands, they are ‘not only interested in the big guys’. Aside from their core activity, they also publish their own studio publication, ijusi, which serves as a forum for designers, photographers, writers and artists to express their views on South Africa’s identity and character.
