Old Jack's Boat to air on CBeebies in August

A retired fisherman called Old Jack, who lives in a little village on the North Yorkshire Coast, tells tall stories from inside his old fishing boat. Old Jack's Boat airs on Monday, 5 August at 18:00 on CBeebies, channel 306 on DStv.
Helped along by a cast of colourful characters and his faithful dog Salty, Old Jack (Bernard Cribbins) is aided by live action and animation which allows him to wander along the seabed, visit tropical islands and fly high up in the air on balloons.
Stories featured in this series include Windy Funnel’s Harp, where Jack recounts how he found a honey pot floating in the sea; The Moon Maiden, where he explains how he helped the Moon Maiden find her way home; and The Magic Sea Carpet, when Jack helped to deliver a very special birthday present.
