Ligwalagwala FM to host its fourth annual Up In Smoke Spin City event

Ligwalagwala FM continues to celebrate its listenership growth this festive session with Up In Smoke Spin City 4. This is the fourth annual event that will see BMWs 325i coming together to compete for the best spinner title. It will bring Nkomazi alive on Saturday, 30 November at Ka-Mabuza Bar and Lounge in Tonga, from Noon until late.
The event will also encourage people to refrain from spinning in unsafe areas. Safety and security remain a top priority for the station and all patrons are urged to behave in a manner that won’t land them on the wrong side of the law.
Adults will pay R60 at the gate, while children under the age of 10 years and people living with disabilities gain free entry. Cooler bags, weapons and sharp objects are not allowed. Food and drinks will be sold inside. Spinners that will keep the crowd entertained is Nkomazi Crew, Team Swazi, Dog Unit Crew, Samson, Turbo, Slow Poison (Venda), Sunash and Erick (Jozi). The spinning will be extended to a party that will see Ligwalagwala FM’s DJs on the decks; Shabbisto, Afrotellus, Madumane and The Prince.
“As the summer season has commenced, we want to bring to our listeners, innovative, energy driven and entertaining activations. Spin City is a name that has become very popular in the mouths of the now generation. It is a sport that showcases BMW motorists spinning their BMW cars (gusheshe). This is a sport that our core target market relates to and attends this sporting event religiously,” said Ligwalagwala FM's marketing manager, Christinah Mazibuko.
