According to Mall Ads™, advertisers will now be able to take advantage of mini-billboards and branded pole ads within the parking areas of selected malls in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and Western Cape.

The new advertising platforms have been strategically placed, using environment media mapping in the parking lot areas of specific malls within the South African Corporate Real Estate retail portfolio.

Jonathan Everest, head of sales: street furniture at Street Network, says, "We’re excited to be partnering with Mall Ads™ on our product offering. The wide range of consumer segments offered by the South African Corporate Real Estate's portfolio ensures that all advertisers have a more diversified service, value and offering."

The partnership between Mall Ads™ and Street Network aims to provide brands with new platforms on which to communicate with targeted consumers.

"Out of home plays a natural and accepted role in the urban landscape. It is, therefore, a part of the daily lives of consumers. Its physical presence in the real world means it cannot be blocked like online ads," says Everest.

"Small-format OOH such as the new mini-billboards and pole ads from Mall Ads™ provide both the coverage, and the scale, needed to attract targeted consumers not only close to, but also directly on, the route to purchase," Everest adds.

"Research collected by the United Kingdom’s Outdoor Media Centre (OMC) shows that outdoor advertising is the advertising medium most seen by shoppers in 'the last window of influence' before shopping. We’re excited to be offering advertisers the possibility of reaching consumers within this window, and within metres of entering a shopping environment," Everest concludes.
