'Takeaway Takeover' aims to assist consumers in making more mindful food choices and answers the daily dilemma of 'what to cook for dinner', powered by the intelligence of Knorr.
How does it work? All users have to do is hold their phone to a takeaway menu, any advertising or even the meals themselves within the 'Takeaway Takeover' mobile app. The AI will then recognise the meal that has been captured and will suggest a few healthy alternatives to choose from.
Once users have chosen the meal that is most appealing, they have the option to order the meal itself (in select locations). Alternatively, they can order the recipe's ingredients through Knorr’s delivery partners and have the ingredients delivered to their doorstep within two hours.
"You can’t turn a corner without being bombarded by the bright colours, menus and advertising of fast food restaurants. Through the creative use of tech, we’ve been able to hijack this fast food media space with a better meal solution for people," says executive creative director Brian Carter.
