According to the agency, Riverbed is the most awarded South African Agency at the PRISM Awards for two years running.

The agency's socially impactful portfolio of work earned two finalists for the Campaign of the Year Award, for its work on Aware.org's 'Drinking and Driving' campaign and Riverbed's Ad Crashers Initiative. It also won two Gold, three Silver and five Bronze Awards, as well as one Special Mention.

Two Gold Awards were given to Nedbank's 'Money and Emotions' campaign, which helped South Africans manage their money choices during lockdown.

"I'm humbled that, for the second year in a row we've led the awards," says Monalisa Zwambila, founder and CEO of Riverbed. "It's a demonstration of our care for great work and the strength of the partnerships we have with our clients."

Zwambila also highlighted the significance of diverse and inclusive agencies beginning to win and make a real mark, which is a massive win for the entire industry.

"What we are most proud of this year is that the awards we received are for work that is deeply rooted in our organisational culture — to create a positive impact. This is evidence that brands can be both purposeful and bring about tangible change in people's lives while delivering on measurable results," adds Zwambila.

"Earned-centric ideas that are grounded in strategy and creatively-led guarantee impact and relevance and Riverbed is ideally suited to lead in this category," Zwambila concludes.
