According to the awards, entries submitted must be broadcast, published or released in a commercial environment with client approval between Sunday, 1 January 2023 and the closing date.
The judging criteria for the awards consist of the originality of the creative ideas and the quality of their executions. To benefit from the discount, entrants should finalise their entries no later than Friday, 8 March (falling on International Women's Day).

The awards say that more than 200 judges from 47 countries will join the 2024 Gerety Awards, with in-person jury sessions held in 15 locations.
The awards have also defined the executive jury sessions' shortlist; each selects the agency and production company of the year from their country. This is chosen from the entrants of the portfolio cut.
