The campus will feature nine new lecture rooms, a practical training hotel room, a Food & Beverage and Coffee training room, two practical training kitchens, one pastry kitchen and a demo kitchen. There will be a student lounge for the students to use between lectures and seating outside the front entrance for everyone to enjoy.

Apart from the fact that there will be 40 parking bays available for students at no additional cost based on a ‘first come first serve basis” each day, the new campus is conveniently situated close to public transport (Metro Bus, Gautrain Bus and taxi services) with bus stops and taxi drop-off points within walking distance of the campus, making it convenient for students and staff.

When it comes to accommodation, there are a number of options available for students in the area with many houses, townhouses and flats available for rent. IHS has also negotiated different accommodation options with the Midrand Conference and Wedding Venue at affordable prices so that students who need accommodation can be easily placed.

Both students and staff are very excited about the move and look forward to starting the New Year afresh in January.
