Before we jump into the different types of digital media it is important to understand what exactly it is. According to Lauryn Preston from Digital Logic: "Digital media is any form of media that uses electronic devices for distribution. This form of media can be created, viewed, modified, and distributed via electronic devices."

This also means that digital media can be shared a lot wider and a lot more frequently than traditional media. But, what are the different forms of this type of media?
