Rianette Cluley, editor-in-chief at Briefly News, will be a speaker. During the workshop, Cluley will share practical examples of AI usage at Briefly News, as well as share the knowledge and skills she obtained at Journalism AI.
Briefly News says that in 2023, Cluley attended the Journalism AI Academy for Small Newsrooms (powered by the Google News Initiative at The London School of Economics and Political Science).
From that time, Cluley began to actively introduce AI tools in the daily routine of
Briefly News journalists and experiment with techniques and methods. Partially, she talked about some of her experiences in the article
AI in the Newsroom: Adapt or Die.
Now, the editor-in-chief wants to share her best practices and proven tips supported by real-life examples, says Briefly News.
"In the workshop, I'd like to meet representatives of traditional journalism as well as tech-savvy media practitioners striving to adapt to digital newsroom transformation, which rapidly happens to each of us," says Cluley.
According to the platform, after the workshop, all participants will be assigned a practical home task to solidify their knowledge. Those who complete it successfully will get a digital certificate from Briefly News.
