Glasfit, a leading supplier and installer of glass and glazing products, has announced that in celebration of Nelson Mandela International Day, it has partnered with Jacaranda FM's Good Morning Angels special initiative to support New Hope School.
New Hope School, established in 1971, aims to be a beacon of hope for learners with disabilities in South Africa.
The school says that with a dedication to unlocking the potential within each child, New Hope School offers a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters academic, emotional, spiritual, creative, physical and social growth.
The school adds that its commitment is reflected in its impressive matric pass rate — a testament to the school's proficiency.
This non-profit organisation provides education and training to learners with:
- cerebral palsy
- permanent physical disabilities
- metabolic disorders, and
- learning disabilities.

The supplier concludes that the morning ended on a positive note when it was announced that more than R800 000 was raised to complete the Special Needs Training Facility project.
