Back in the day, a picture or an image could prove that something actually happened — as the old saying goes, "pics or it didn't happen."  But now thanks to the advancements of AI, people are able to manipulate images and videos to create footage of something that never actually happened. 

And this is kind of scary to think about. Now people can make politicians or any significant person say anything they want and dupe people who aren't aware of this technology.
