The tournament, the crown jewel of the CTTLFA calendar, promises to unite Cape Town's football-loving communities in a celebration of sport, music and local culture, says Good Hope FM.

Taking place at the Royal Road Sports Ground in Maitland, the Junior Finals will kick off on Saturday, 27 and Sunday, 28 September, followed by the Senior Finals on Saturday, 4 October. With over 2 000 spectators expected daily, the event is set to be a vibrant community festival, marking the culmination of Saxon Rovers FC's 80th Anniversary celebrations, adds the station.

Good Hope FM will provide live outside broadcasts at the tournament — with favoured presenters at the game:

  • Saturday, 27 September will feature The Hit 30 with Danilo Acquisto from 09:00 to 12:00, and The Matinee with Garth B from 12:00 to 15:00.
  • Sunday, 28 September will see Cape Town Original Sundaze with Irma G from 09:00 to 12:00, and Peadon Smith from 12:00 to 15:00.
  • Saturday, 4 October will have The Hit 30 and The Matinee return for the Senior Finals.

Individuals can expect enjoyable football games, interactions with Good Hope FM presenters, on-the-ground activations and the unmistakable sound of Cape Town's Original lighting up the spirit of the Mother City's sports scene, says the station.

"Saxon Rovers Football Club turns 80 this year and it's a massive privilege for us to be involved. Our support is about more than just football; it's about community, pride and celebrating the heart of Cape Town," says Masi Mdingane, Business Manager for Good Hope FM and 5FM
