From Friday, 5 to Sunday, 7 December, the Fourways Mall rooftop will be transformed into a playground of esports, cosplay, tech innovation and LAN action, and 5FM will be attending the event, says the radio station.
Listeners can look forward to ticket giveaways in the lead-up to the event, and two live broadcasts straight from rAge: 5 Lunch with Lula Odiba will broadcast live on Friday, 5 December, followed by The Top 40 on 5 with Harrison Mkhize broadcasting live on Saturday, 6 December. Listeners can also expect the station's exclusive interviews with gaming creators, streamers and fans on the ground, adds the radio station.
The NAG BYOC LAN, taking place from Thursday, 4 to Sunday, 7 December, brings round-the-clock gaming powered by lightning-fast connectivity, while the rAge Expo floor will be hosting esports tournaments, game demos, cosplay, tech showcases and a celebration of South Africa's gaming culture, says the radio station.
Visitors of rAge 2025 can expect technology and gaming showcases — from esports and cosplay to interactive demos. New features are arriving at the expo floor, with surprises to be revealed in the run-up to the big event. In true rAge fashion, new features will elevate the innovation, ensuring that even long-time rAge visitors will find excitement, adds the radio station.
