Living Land on SABC 2 bids farewell to Tshekedi Monyemore and welcomes Polokwane’s Karabo Timba

Living Land presenter Tshekedi Monyemore will hand over to Karabo Timba on Saturday, 20 August at 11:00 when season five of the show begins with a look back at highlights of season four.
27-year old Karabo, describes herself as a bubbly but professional and rooted person. She has a diploma in advertising and public relations and has experience in educational marketing.
She is a vivacious Pedi girl from Polokwane with experience in television acting and public speaking. She says, “I hope to bring a fresh and edgy feel to the show. The knowledge and skills I’ll acquire I plan to use to uplift young women in my community through peer education.”
In 2007, Karabo left a marketing position to study towards a course in television and radio presenting, and has never looked back. Her television debut was in 2007 when she was chosen as one of the four finalists of the Ponds Passport to Success Television Competition. Later in 2007 she secured a role in Generations. During 2009 and 2010 she continued acting in7de Laan.
Karabo speaks Sepedi, English, Tshivenda and Afrikaans. When she is not working, she fulfils her other passions by organising parties, promotions and speaking at events.
