Carte Blanche looks at South Africa’s heritage
Media 46
Carte Blanche broadcasts on M-Net (DStv channel101) & M-Net HD (DStv channel 170) every Sunday at 19:00.
On Sunday, 25 September Carte Blanche will broadcast a Heritage Day special.
Some regard it as a day to look back on our dramatic and, at times, dark history; for others, a time to braai, drink beer, and simply chill out. This Sunday, Carte Blanche celebrates Heritage Day with a special broadcast, looking back on a war that helped shape South Africa, its people and culture. In an artefactual adventure into our past, our viewers will present fascinating relics collected from battlefields to backyards to a panel of experts to evaluate. Travel down memory lane with us to a time when horses were ridden to their deaths, Long Toms became legendary and pom-poms weren’t for cheerleading.
