Season three introduces the new cyberspace segment that looks at technology behind applications and how people can use their smartphones to empower themselves rather than just making and receiving calls.
Two presenters, Dee and Malope, share a studio and together visit different places and share innovations in South Africa by young people. The programme encourages young people to be creative and innovative, simplifies and demystifies science and technology by promoting that science is everywhere.
Teenagers on a Mission highlights science and technology in areas of bugs and science, the Square Kilometre Array, National Science Week, women in science, climate change, nanotechnology, the Joule electric car, and other exciting topics. Young scientists in the making can also showcase their latest scientific and technological innovations. A new segment looking at indigenous science has also been introduced - the segment looks at how people used science in the past and how it helped them.
