Author and Madiba’s assistant, Zelda la Grange, Freshly Ground’s Zolani Mahola, award-winning ballerina, Lorna Maseko, and former Google SA boss, Stafford Masie, will share their insights and learnings at the FNB Business Women’s Breakfast in association with East Coast Radio at Durban’s ICC on Wednesday, 5 August 2015.

Through the involvement of our sponsors, FNB and the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), East Cost Radio are able to mobilise a panel of distinguished speakers to share key insights with the KZN corporate world.

The event isn’t just a breakfast to celebrate the phenomenal strides women have made in South Africa. It’s about the unique journeys, the lessons learnt along the way and the earnest advice from women who dare to dream, break moulds and set trends.

Bestselling author Zelda la Grange will share heart-warming stories of life with one of the greatest men in the world. She served former President Nelson Mandela for 19 years until his death in 2013. La Grange's memoir, Good Morning, Mr Mandela, was the Bestseller of the Year in SA in 2014.

As lead singer of Freshly Ground, Zolani Mahola has rubbed shoulders with some of music’s finest, but stays close to her South African roots. Currently one of the judges on Sing Off SA, Mahola will share how she juggles family and a successful international career.

IT innovator and former Google SA boss, Stafford Masie, is a celebrated strategist and one of the SA’s top forward-thinkers. He also knows a lot about the future of technology. Masie will share advice on how to navigate the challenging – and fast-changing - world of technology and the role his mother played in getting him to where he is today.

Packing a magnetic personality, the business savvy Lorna Maseko will talk about the challenges she faced as one of SA’s premiere ballet dancers. From the moment she put on her first pair of dancing shoes at the age of nine-years-old, to her meteoric rise as SA’s first professional black dancer and Top Billing presenter, Maseko’s journey is nothing short of remarkable and inspiring.

Hosted by ECR’s Carol Ofori, the FNB Business Women’s Breakfast in association with East Coast Radio is one of the most anticipated events on the KZN corporate calendar.
