Venter's very first solo album, Die Man Vir Jou, is available for pre-order on his website for only R100. The album, which is available to order from the online store, will come with a personalised postcard as well as a note from Venter himself.

Venter explains, “Months of hard work in the studio finally paid off with the release of this solo album. I’m extremely proud of what I’ve done as an artist and I can’t wait to share it with the world.”

Venter’s newly forged solo-career has already had numerous highlights in the past month. He was chosen to sing the South African national anthem in Australia when the Springboks faced the Wallabies. He also sang the New Zealand national anthem at Ellis Park in the test match between South Africa and New Zealand.

He was also a part of the Krone 2 concert where he performed alongside renowned artists like Kurt Darren, Nicholis Louw, Heinz Winckler, Snotkop and many others.

Venter says: “I decided to spread my wings as a solo artist after the Romanz group decided to bid farewell to the music industry in 2014. Consequently, I recorded my solo album at Sony Music.”

He is extremely excited about this new phase in his life: “There’s definitely no better way to kick off my solo career than to spoil my loyal and new fans alike with a little personalised postcard and note.”

CD orders will be couriered across the country at the end of August. Alternatively, the albums can be collected from the Plaas Publishing offices in Pretoria or from Venter's digital partner, Lumico, which is situated in Cape Town CBD.
