A familiar face on the M-Net Channels, Antonio Summerton, died in a motorcycle accident in Roodepoort on Saturday, 29 December 2007.

Antonio recently hosted the late-night reality show, Stripteaze, the first local show on M-Net's action X channel on DStv. Earlier this year he played the role of Brendan, the love interest of Dr Jennifer Adams, in the popular M-Net hospital drama Binnelanders, while kykNET viewers will remember him from the soap Villa Rosa. Before moving to Villa Rosa, Antonio did a stint as continuity presenter on M-Net's youth channel GO, where he also presented the music show Selekta.

Antonio was a versatile young actor and presenter and his vibrant presence will be greatly missed.
