The ADreach sponsored SPA campaign aimed to create awareness and was accompanied by a call to action to get involved and donate money by either SMS or contacting the organisation directly.

“Our latest sterilisation campaign has been a huge success, with SMSs coming in daily. Not only did it bring in the money, it also brought Animal Allies much-needed exposure. People just loved the posters,” says Monique Friedland of Animal Allies.

“When you think that one unsterilised female and male dog, and their offspring, over a six-year period are responsible for the births of 67 000 dogs, and one male and female cat, and their offspring, are responsible for the births of 42 0000 cats over that same period, it's clear why sterilization is essential,” she adds.

As a direct result of the campaign, 'Animal Allies' has been able to sterilise a further 78 animals, preventing many thousands of unwanted litters in the long term.

“We are thrilled at the success of the 'Animal Allies' campaign,” says Steve Jourdan, head of marketing and sales at ADreach. “It really is a testament to the fact that SPAs are an excellent campaign extension and are diverse and affordable enough for any size business or organisation.”

He concludes, "In fact, SPAs offer the highest recall out of all the out of home advertising platforms, ensuring more people will remember SPAs than any other type of outdoor media."
