The renewal was subject to the favourable outcome of a monitoring and evaluation process conducted by SAQA. This means that PRISA has fulfilled the criteria for recognition as a professional body.
The year 2018 aims to be a year of change for PRISA. The membership value proposition, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programmes, and other functions serving the industry will be the focus of PRISA nationally and regionally, including Botswana and Namibia.
The renewal of recognition as a professional body will aim to benefit the industry as a whole as it will enable PRISA to contribute to skills development and professional service delivery in South Africa. It will also contribute to strengthening social responsiveness and accountability within the industry.
According to the team at PRISA, members can be assured that PRISA will continue to represent their interests and are welcome to engage directly with them by constructively expressing their views and expectations of PRISA in the future.
