Always up to making a difference and giving back to communities, Beast generously shared his expertise by giving the u / 20 Zimbabwe rugby team some tips in the art of scrummaging before 'attacking' the mud to raise funds for this vital cause, says the brand.

And he wasn't the only one. According to Timothy Isabirye, marketing manager of Husqvarna South Africa, USD$61 106 (over R1.1-million) was raised for KidzCan Zimbabwe, surpassing 2023's fundraising efforts of USD$55 000 (just over R1-million).

"The Husqvarna Mudrun 2024 was more than just a race; it was a celebration of community spirit and collective impact," Isabirye says. "It is incredible what we can achieve when we unite for a common goal," adds Isabirye.

Beast, who was met with cheers and high-fives from fans, humbly expressed his gratitude to Husqvarna South Africa for making the event possible.

"Being part of the Husqvarna Mudrun 2024 and supporting KidzCan Zimbabwe has been an amazing experience. Thanks to Husqvarna South Africa for making this possible," Beast adds.

"Raising funds in support of these little ones who have to deal with a life-threatening disease is an honour," Isabirye says. "This amazing organisation, whose mission it is to increase the survival rate and ensure the utmost quality of life for children with cancer in a caring environment, delivers an invaluable community service."

He concludes, "Husqvarna South Africa is privileged to be able to contribute to the cause in a fun and unique way, like the Mudrun, that appeals to and brings joy to children while making a meaningful difference."
