La Culla Safe Haven for Babies aims to provide protection, safety and love for abandoned babies and is run out of an abundance of love by the Maritz family.

The organisation says that since opening in 2020, it has helped more than 120 babies from surrounding communities and currently care for 10 babies aged between three weeks and nine months old.

"We're pleased to partner with the Clicks Helping Hand Trust to support the excellent work that La Culla does in providing shelter for babies in need," says Grant Heynes, Head of Strategic Development at The Great Africa Hair Company. "If you nurture a child from birth into young adulthood with the right environment, they stand the best chance of success in life, and then they too can contribute back into society."

Janine Maritz, Founder of La Culla, has expressed her heartfelt gratitude, and says, "We are very thankful for this donation of baby essentials, which will help us meet our chief objective, which is to provide for abandoned babies and give them the helping hand they need in life."

The Clicks Helping Hand Trust says that it is committed to uplifting local communities and was proud to assist La Culla through this partnership.

"We are pleased to be able to collaborate on such a heartwarming initiative. By working together with the Great Africa Hair Company, we can really make a meaningful difference and help build a healthier future for all," says Vikash Singh, Clicks's Managing Executive.
