The Dis-Chem Foundation, Esteé Lauder and Plascon say that the trio distributed care packs to the patients in the ward.

The acting CEO, Baldwin Mulaudzi, expresses his heartfelt gratitude for the continued support the hospital has received, from the start of the project to its completion.

"This initiative is a testament to the power of collaboration in addressing critical healthcare needs and improving the lives of patients facing immense challenges," says Jacqueline Kahlberg, spokesperson for the Dis-Chem Foundation.

"Access to healthcare is one of our imperatives and aligns with our commitment to supporting projects that uplift communities and provide dignified, compassionate care. We appreciate the opportunity to be involved in this meaningful initiative and are excited to see the positive impact this revamped space will have on hundreds of patients annually," Kahlberg adds.

Kahlberg says that, under the leadership of Dr Nivashini Murugan, supported by her team, the clinic stands as a beacon of hope and care for the community.

The Foundation concludes that it looks forward to continuing its involvement as the project expands into the Female Surgical Ward, further enhancing the healing environment for those in need.
