The Federated Employers Mutual Assurance Company (RF) (Pty) Ltd (FEM) has announced that it will host its annual Safetember Health and Safety Conference on Thursday, 11 September from 09:00 to 14:00 at The Maslow Hotel in Sandton.
This year's theme, "Advancing Construction H&S into the Future,: aims to brings together key stakeholders to address pressing occupational health and safety (OHS) issues shaping the construction sector, says the company.
Safetember, FEM's flagship initiative launched in 2015, remains dedicated to raising awareness and reducing accident rates in South Africa's construction industry. Each year, the conference aims to provide a platform for government officials, industry leaders, experts and practitioners to share strategies, innovations and practical measures to improve workplace safety, adds the company.
