• The day kicks off at 06:00 with a 15km Table Mountain trail run (enter from 17:00, entry fee R100). The first of its kind and soon to become an annual event on the racing calendar
• 08:00 a fun Run/Walk of 7km through the streets and avenues of our hometown, Cape Town. Entry fee R35 per adult and R10 per child. A R10 000 prize will be donated to the school with the most entries into this event. Each entrant will be asked to donate a bag of non-perishable groceries, which will be donated to various Cape Town, Street Children’s shelters. The winner of the Primary school boys and girls division will each win a Merida bicycle. The High School pupil that wins the race, will win a Blackberry – in addition to these prizes, there will be various other fun prices.
• Secure Parking will be available in Varsity Road, Tamboerskloof at R10 per car.
• From 08:00 onwards our City Slickers Farmers’ Market offers a variety of interesting arts and crafts, a deli stocked with fresh produce and delicacies, some wine stalls from selected Estates, a tea garden filled with home baked goodies, selected food stalls and a wine/beer tent.
• At 12:00 a celebrity Braai 'Cook Out' between famous chefs like George Jardine (Jordan) and Rudi Liebenberg (Mount Nelson), a selected few tickets will be available to taste their special ‘braai creations'.
• Children will be delighted by our dedicated and secure kiddies’ area packed with fun activities and snacks. A dedicated area for Crafty Kids will be open all day, a performance by the Zip Zap circus at 11:00 will be followed by a magician show, Africa Bothers Soccer Academy will present free soccer coaching and interactive soccer games in the Main Kids Tent from 15:00 to 18:00 and other performers will entertain them from early till late.
• Live music will play throughout the day, and at 16:00 our festivities conclude not so quietly with our main musical event.
