Attracting entrants from throughout the country, the Awards set the standard for the entire advertising and communications industry, while recognising those agencies who reach beyond excellence. No ‘fly-by-night’ endeavour, the overall winners are judged over a 12-month period, taking each winner of the Creative Circle Monthly Awards into account across print, TV, digital experiential, radio and out-of-home.
It is a great honour, then, to even be mentioned in one of the seven categories - and a great challenge - yet TBWA/ Hunt Lascaris has reliably made the cut over the years.
This year, the agency cleaned up in the following categories:
Best of Print
- Second place for City Lodge Hotels ‘A room for everyone’
- Second place for Doom Insecticide ‘Sexy Times’
Best of Radio
- First place for Flight Centre Student Flights ‘Travel before it’s not fun anymore’
- Third place for Doom Insecticide ‘Sexy Times’
TBWA/ Hunt Lascaris also walked away with what is arguably the most coveted prize of the evening –
Agency of the Year. This follows being awarded the
Best Radio Agency in the World at
Cannes Lions in 2015.
“The true measure of a creative company is when you can consistently create iconic work throughout a year for many different clients on many different projects,” says Peter Khoury, chief creative officer at TBWA/Hunt Lascaris. “It is up to us to carry this momentum forward. Well done to an amazing group of talented people. I feel proud to be part of this team.”
