Gentleman Jack features three Jack Daniel Distillery workers, including Chris Grizzard junior, Kevin Smith, and Hiawatha Kitty McGee.

Grizzard is from the warehousing department and has worked at the distillery for 13 years alongside his father, Chris Grizzard senior, who is responsible for rolling barrels and making sure they are entered and removed from warehouses safely and efficiently.

The TV ad aims to portray Grizzard's love for family, dressed alongside his father and sharing a generational moment that characterises the overall goodness, hard work, and care they together invest into making/crafting Gentleman Jack.

Smith has been working at the Jack Daniel Distillery for three years. Smith works in the Rick Yard, making charcoal for Jack Daniel’s charcoal mellowing process. It is this charcoal mellowing that makes Jack Daniel’s products a Tennessee whiskey and not a bourbon.

Smith says the TV ad represents a town where honest, authentic living and family values are a priority – a recipe synonymous with the making of Gentleman Jack.

McGee has been working at the distillery for more than 18 years and is in charge of pouring the whiskey and organising the distillery tours of Jack Daniel’s from all over the world, who visit the Distillery each year.

McGee says she hopes that people take away from the TV ad the true friendliness of the people at the Jack Daniel Distillery.
