Stratitude's Level 2 status has coincided with its 10-year anniversary. The agency is marking the milestone with an internal philosophy — '#countMEin'— that aims to inspire employees to take responsibility for their actions in achieving the best results for the agency and its clients.

Stratitude's commitment to B-BBEE comprises partnerships with black female-owned enterprises and suppliers, as well as internship programmes that cultivate applied learning among previously disadvantaged individuals.

Additionally, the agency manages communication requirements for Sunshine Association — a non-profit organisation that supports children with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities.

The Level 2 status has improved Stratitude's B-BBEE procurement recognition level to 125%, resulting in increased opportunities arising from organisations that have B-BBEE-compliant procurement policies.

"Stratitude is proud to be awarded a Level 2 B-BBEE status," says Sylvia Schutte, managing director of Stratitude.

"Reaching this level is [a] testament to the strides we've made in fulfilling our operational and transformation goals. We've pulled together to embrace the ethos of '#countMEin', and we are grateful for the opportunities to invest in social and enterprise development initiatives as part of this campaign," Schutte adds.

"We look forward to doing so much more — not only to attain the highest B-BBEE level but ultimately, to realise our country's full potential," Schutte concludes.
