Kia South Africa, in partnership with OFYT, has released a television commercial (TVC), titled 'Baby Relay'. The TVC showcases the new Kia Seltos SUV and speaks to modern families, highlighting the importance of owning every journey — big or small, significant, or routine.
Set in a South African household on a big game day, the commercial is a fun take on the daily hustle of parenthood. As the family gathers to enjoy the game, there's a familiar conundrum: The baby is restless and won't sleep. But this family has a clever solution, says the duo.
Taking turns driving the baby around the block in their new Kia Seltos, they manage to soothe the baby while ensuring they don't miss a second of the action. The ad beautifully captures the teamwork, adaptability and determination that so many South African families embody, using the Seltos to elevate an everyday task, says Kia and OFYT.
The duo says that the campaign embodies Kia's 'Movement That Inspires' ethos, resonating with families who are constantly juggling life's demands but who also refuse to compromise on enjoying the journey.
