The Loeries are Africa and the Middle East's premier awards that recognise, reward, inspire and foster creative excellence in the advertising and brand communication industry, winning a Loerie is the highest accolade for creativity and innovation across the region, says Accenture Song.

The final tally included one Gold, one Silver, five Bronze and two Craft Certificates awarded for work spanning the Financial Services, Tourism, Retail and FMCG sectors, says the group.

According to Accenture Song, the wins came across multiple categories, including:

  • Film (Music, TV & Cinema Film and Film Crafts)
  • Digital Use of Metaverse AR, VR and OOH
  • Events, and
  • Media Innovation.

Accenture Song says that leading the recognition was the latest campaign for Allan Gray — 'Everything Comes Around'.

Graeme Jenner, Accenture Song's Executive Creative Director, says, "For over 20 years, Allan Gray has consistently been telling stories about the value of time and long-term investing. It's always challenging to live up to the work that's come before, to find new and interesting ways to tell that story, so it's very rewarding when the Loeries jury deem our latest work worthy of a Gold, Silver and Craft Certificate."

While 'Made in the Cape Market,' a campaign for Wesgro, the agency responsible for trade, tourism and investment in the Western Cape — won four awards, including three Bronze Loeries and a Craft Certificate. The work showcased creative storytelling in retail through a combination of physical design and AR animations, says the group.

Danni Pinch, Executive Creative Director for Accenture Song, Africa says, "Wesgro has continually pushed the boundaries of creative marketing, and this project was no exception. 'Made in the Cape Market' blended physical and augmented reality design to allow us to bring an innovative storytelling layer into the retail experience."
