Oftentimes different roles interlink, and those who aren't in the know assume that those roles are the same thing. This is especially the case when it comes to marketing and communications, although they are two sides of the same coin, they each have their own unique role to play.
When it comes to brand awareness, there are multiple players at work to make sure that a brand gets optimal recognition — and two that often get confused for being the exact same thing are marketing and communications.
