Bliss Brands creates a TV series for Securex
Marketing 294
Bliss Brands has launched a television series around their personal hygiene soap Securex. The consumer driven content fits in with Bliss Brands strategy to implement marketing campaigns that are out of the box, in terms of the washing powder market.
Aptly named Kid Securex, the fully animated television series is aimed at children and features four superhero kids - Shaka, Zack, Kheti and Ryan – as well as their dog Rex and their scientist friend Dr Wise. The series teaches children about germs and how Securex can help banish those germs.
The superhero kids have special powers that help them in the fight against germs. They fight the bad guys – King Germangi, Queen Germalina and Neurog, the cunning brains behind the king’s evil plans. Neurog is constantly coming up with ways of allowing germs to infiltrate the human world. Part of the bad guys is Puggo, the king’s greatest warrior. He is a huge, ugly germ with bull-like strength. However cunning and strong, Kid Securex always manage to beat the germs.
The series was created with the aim of not only entertaining, but demonstrating the importance of hygiene and using Securex soap to keep skin protected against germs.
Jacqueline Jacobs, marketing and sales director at Bliss Brands, says, “As part of our marketing strategy for Securex we wanted to create something different, fun and entertaining and really bring home the fact that Securex is a premium anti-germ, protector soap that keeps skin healthy and moisturised. Kid Securex has all the ingredients of a thrilling, adventurous, sci-fi series for children, while also highlighting the importance of good hygiene and the benefits of keeping germs at bay.”
The series runs on e.tv at 14:30, Mondays to Thursdays.
