The amateur video clip shot at Kruger National Park by a Texan on holiday in 2004 has been made into a documentary by National Geographic.
The hour-long video shows a dramatic confrontation between a herd of Cape Buffalos; a pride of lions and a pair of crocodiles.
In 2007, the video was posted on YouTube, and has since received over 30 million views and 32 000 comments.
The 'Battle at Kruger' also won an award in the
YouTube Awards 2007 for the best video in the Eyewitness category.
National Geographic bought the rights to the video and produced the first YouTube-inspired documentary, which was recently screened in Britain.
