A LLB student at the University of the Witwatersrand, 22-year-old Minty is a thought leader and innovator. A writer and motivational speaker, Minty is the author of a book Empire, which is about the youth and their mind-set and teaches young people how to improve their thoughts to attract positivity and success.
He started his own foundation, Zareef Minty Build a School Foundation, which plans on building three schools in Limpopo by the end of 2017. Minty is also a One Young World Ambassador for South Africa and will represent the country in Bangkok later this year. He has worked with organisations such as Reach For A Dream, UNICEF, the United Nations Association of South Africa and local hospitals in Klerksdorp.
Minty, who also recently joined Primestars Marketing as an ambassador, said following his win; “Let’s also congratulate contestants in season four Ludwekazi Ndlazi, Nandile Mlambo, Natasha Sesing, Sydney Madibo and Thamsanqa Pooe who are all future leaders of our beautiful country. Together we will continue making a difference in South Africa.”
