The pair are responsible for overseeing the news content for their respective regions to strengthen EWN’s reputation for credible news and storytelling across all platforms.

Both editors have experience in the field, on the desk, and in editing roles. Moeketsi has been with EWN for the majority of her career, starting with an internship on the news desk at what was then 94.7 Highveld Stereo and growing into the breakfast show anchor on 702. She has balanced her radio work with TV and has anchored on eTV and eNCA.
Moeketsi adds, “With so much happening in our country, and the world, there’s no better place to be than in the middle of the EWN newsroom – there’s never a dull moment at EWN. I thrive in guiding our reporters through the lively minefield of breaking news stories happening at every turn.”
Katopodis, who was part of the launch team for South Africa’s first independent 24-hour television news channel, eNCA, and then moved with the brand into the digital realm, says, "EWN Cape Town is blessed with an extraordinary team of journalists, radio, and online practitioners.
