The event will be staged on a public holiday and will bring together a line-up of local musicians, comedians, and craft food and drinks. Some of the musicians who will be performing are Mango Groove, award-winning singing duo Mafikizolo, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and Gangs of Ballet. The line-up of comedians includes ECR’s Darren Maule and Rory Petzer, as well as Barry Hilton, Carvin Goldstone, and Chris Forrest.

East Coast Radio’s Concert, Comedy and Craft will have two stages – one with the headline acts and another with local acoustic acts. It promises to be a day out for the whole family complete with a food market, a craft beer, gin and whiskey area, a kid’s zone, open air art, and drumming classes.

East Coast Radio’s GM, BoniMchunu says, "We’re proud that East Coast Radio is rooted in the social fabric of KwaZulu-Natal by hosting some of the province's biggest and most loved events. We hope that this event, a fresh new idea, will be as well received as some of the station’s other events."

The person who is the best dressed in traditional attire at East Coast Radio’s Concert, Comedy and Craft will win R50 000. The event starts at 10:30 and runs until the afternoon. Tickets are R150 for adults and children over 12, R100 for children between eight to 12 years old, and children under eight years old are R20. Tickets are available via Web Tickets.
