This was Mo Flava’s first win at the awards and is testament to the hard work that he has put in over the years to make sure that he is constantly honing his craft to be a better radio presenter. Mo Flava shared the award with co-host Masechaba Ndlovu and the Metro FM family at large.

“It’s extremely humbling to be acknowledged by the industry for the work I do daily, which doesn’t even feel like work at times. Thank you to my co-host Masechaba Ndlovu for putting up with me and making my job easy. I would also like to thank my on and off air teams that contribute daily to make The Drive show the best afternoon drive show in the country,” Mo Flava says.

Having taken the steering wheel of The Drive in 2016, after just a year at the radio station, Mo Flava continues to prove he is more than up for the task of driving home listeners on one of the biggest commercial radio stations in the country.

Earlier this month, Metro FM made some changes to their line-up; however, Mo Flava remains on The Drive and continues to drive home listeners from 15:00 till 18:00 each week day.
