Rarely seen photos of Nelson Mandela

This month's edition will feature South Africa’s top press photographers, all of whom had the honour of working with and photographing Mandela during his life.

According to the magazine, there’s a humanitarian boldness that’s both visually and literally apparent in the pictures and stories of the top press photographers who journeyed by Mandela's side.

"His iconic humility and humour touched our hearts. We can only hope and wish that this type of empathic awareness is carried into the spirit of South Africans to help our nation evolve," the magazine reports.
