Mokoena has introduced Nero TV and The Artist Corner, where he will aim to take viewers through the lifestyle offering that comes with wine culture. Mokoena has indicated that audiences can expect engaging content and to learn more about their interests — be it wine or acting.

Nero TV invites wine curios, wine connoisseurs and lovers of wine to join in on conversations, which not only educate consumers about what makes a great wine, but also introduces viewers to some of the best wines available in South Africa.

The show not only aims to share Mokoena’s journey as a winemaker through his brand Nero, but also to broaden the conversation by including other winemakers and brands in the conversation. This will, according to Mokoena, fully immerse consumers in the story of local and international wines.

"The world of wine can come across as very daunting for most people, and working with the Bosman Family Vineyards to produce Nero grape has taught me so much about the industry, as well as the process of winemaking," says Mokoena.

"This inspired the idea to create a platform that educates and shares some of the knowledge I have gained along the way," adds Mokoena. "One can look forward to digital wine tastings, food pairings, wine reviews, wine eventing, wine myth-busting, distribution and so much more."

"Nero TV will also introduce the benefits of being a member of the Nero Club, which offers endless specials to its loyal consumers and membership base, all the way to getting wine delivered right to your doorstep," he says.

In addition to this platform, Mokoena will also be introducing a new offering called The Artist Corner, which is aimed at existing and aspiring actors and actresses.

As part of this offering, Mokoena will be talking from his home studio and sharing his insights, while bringing industry experts to share some industry experiences and insights.

The show aims to equip those on the come up, and those 'in the game', with tools that will enable growth in their artistic journeys.

"As an artist, you receive so many requests for shadowing and mentorship, but it is impossible to sit with everyone across the table and mentor them," says Mokoena.

"So, we have used the power of technology to democratise success in the entertainment industry by opening up this world, so that artists are able to learn fundamental aspects of the acting and film-making from renowned industry heavy-weights they are inspired by and look up to," he concludes.

Individuals are encouraged to join the conversation and learn more about these interests by subscribing to Nero TV  and / or The Artist Corner on YouTube.
