Viu is a pan-regional OTT video streaming service from PCCW Media Group. The service has more than 41 million monthly active users. 

Viu Premium aims to give its subscribers access to a variety of local and international premium content, including South Africa's local 'soapies' and dramas.

These include:
  • Yizo Yizo 
  • Gold Diggers
  • The Big Banger Comedy Series 
  • Bollywood movies, and
  • pan-African hit series. 
The price points for Viu Premium include:
  • R5 a day with a one-day free trial 
  • R20 a week with a one-day free trial, and
  • two monthly options that each come with a seven-day free trial: R29 with ads or R69 ad-free.
According to the service, all price options have download functionality to allow customers to download and watch content later.
