According to the awards, entries from creators across the country have been flooding in and those entries were closed on Sunday, 10 July.

The awards say that it is time to take the next big step in the awards' journey, which is judging the entries to announce the nominees in each category.

  • Pierre Cassatu, global chief marketing officer at Humanz
  • Sabelo Mnukwa, senior manager of campaigns, digital platforms and social media at Multichoice

  • Seth Pimentel (African Ginger), a visual artist
  • Shannon Valstar, general manager at Steyn Entertainment / Rocking the Daisies

  • Takunda Bimha, founder and chief content officer at Podium
  • Warrick Wyngaard, brand manager for Sol & Fox
  • Zanele Hlatshwayo, YouTube lead for Africa, and
  • Zesipho Mncwango, brand manager of alcohol, FMCG for youth brands and luxury brands at Distell.
According to the awards, this panel has the important job of adjudicating entries from all the creators who have submitted content.

"Our diverse panel of judges has been selected for their experience, insight and industry knowledge. Each one will add a fresh perspective and incredible value to the judging process," concludes DStv Content Creator Awards CEO, Manuela Dias de Deus.

The awards say that judging is currently underway, and the nominees will be announced on Thursday, 21 July.
