Podcasts have become one of the most popular story-sharing mediums out there. Whether it's hosting conversations with experts or taking a deep dive into topics, they are a great way to spread awareness, as well as to educate and inspire listeners.

This Women's Month, we’re focusing on those who use their podcasting powers to place a focus on females.

So readers, let's plug our earphones into the vast community of podcasting women who are promoting, supporting and encouraging other women.

1. The Broad Experience



The Broad Experience, hosted by Ashley Milne-Tyte, is a must-listen-to this Women's Month. Why? This podcast contains 25-minute long conversations about the challenges that women often face in the workplace.

By doing this, the podcast spreads awareness about the treatment of working women and the struggles that they face on a daily basis.

Additionally, these podcasts offer advice to women on how to handle the issues that they face in the workplace in order to empower them in their work environments. Excellent examples of episodes that do this include:

2. The Patrauma Party




The Patrauma Party podcast episodes are as unique as its name. These episodes delve into the heaviness of trauma, but in a light-hearted way that destigmatises mental health issues and helps women to feel less isolated in their trauma.

Through this podcast, the host Remi Ramirez helps promote openness and transparency when it comes to the topic of mental health. This:

The Player's Pod by Just Women's Sports places a necessary focus on female athletes across the globe. On the quest to bring attention to the female sports realm is the host Kelley O'Hara, who is an Olympic Gold medalist and a FIFA Women's World Cup champion herself.

In the podcast, Kelley hosts conversations with numerous famous sportswomen and asks them about their journey to success in the world of sports. Examples of these episodes include:
This podcast gives a well-deserved shout-out to women who work extremely hard for their achievements and recognition in the sports industry.

Additionally, it is an inspiration to many women who are passionate about sports and wish to learn more about their heroes and how they reached the top.

5. Womanica





Wonder Media Network is taking us on a retrospective journey with its podcast, Womanica.

The podcast aims to teach us about our favourite women in history. Through these podcasts, the network is changing the perception of history into herstory and raising awareness for the ladies who were powerful players in shaping the past.

Through this podcast, women can draw inspiration and empowerment from their historical predecessors.

Furthermore, they can finally hear stories about the muses, dynamos and prodigies who paved paths for women today. Examples of these episodes include:

6. Nobody Panic 





Hosted by the witty and hilarious Stevie Martin and Tessa Coats, this Plosive podcast teaches ladies how to do life.

Compiled in this podcast is a series of episodes that give women life hacks and teaches them skills that they may not have thought they would need. Examples of this can be seen in its episodes:
This podcast offers guidance for events and circumstances that aren’t often addressed by society. They aim to help women feel more in control and prepared when it comes to dealing with them.
