Let's find your voice:
Self-reflect
A big part of discovering your voice as a writer is gaining insight into your preferences, perspectives and understanding.
So, it's important to do a bit of introspection to determine how
you would explain what you think
your writing looks like.
It's also important to ask yourself what you
want your writing to look like. Consider the styles of your favourite authors and what aspects of their writing you could adopt for your own style.
Write as you think
Sometimes the little voice in your head is the writing voice you've been searching for all along. It is the most honest version of yourself and, when you apply it to your writing, it will be the unique perspective that makes your writing stand out among the writing of others.
Practice makes panache
The more comfortable you become with writing, the easier it becomes to make it your own. Therefore, one of the
best ways to discover your voice is to exercise it and experiment with different styles to discover which one feels most natural to you.
