It's a Win-Win!

East Coast Radio House + Garden Show says that it has all the spoils in 2024, with over R300 000 worth of competition prizes in cash, products and experiences — not including its show discounts and specials available every day.

According to the show, attendees can join Plascon as they take them on a digital Treasure Hunt and a chance to step out with R10 000 cash in pocket.

The station has encouraged attendees to try their luck at Hirsch's Mysterious Big Blue Box, packed with appliances.

According to the show, Cricut is giving away R100 000 worth of products when attendees design a custom shopping bag that is voted as the best by everyone. The Cricut experts will also assist with making the actual bags.

The East Coast Radio House + Garden Show says that it caters for dreams too. One Stop Travel has five competition prizes to transport attendees to other worlds — from local to global, from land to sea, to three pairs of rugby tickets for the Castle Lager Rugby Match where South Africa take on Ireland in Durban on Saturday, 13 July.

Individuals are encouraged to try snap up two air tickets on Qatar Airways to Doha for four nights. All prize winners will be announced at the show — including R100 000 worth of dreams.

It's a Family Affair

The 2024 event is big on families, so take the children along for the fun and games, says the show. There's a heap of good kids's things going on at the East Coast Radio House + Garden Show.

The show says it offers fun and games for all children, including:

  • an outdoor jungle gym
  • a bubble house
  • sand art
  • an indoor Play Space by Melissa and Doug
  • meeting their favourite fairytale characters
  • playing dress-up and make-believe
  • a dozen different kids-only workshops, such as painting with Rapunzel
  • decorating take-home toadstools
  • creating super cool snow globes, and
  • listening to story time.

It's a Foodie Fair

According to the show, the 2024 Foodie Fair is a playground of flavours and fresh faces. From tasty newcomers to equally tasty old favourites, the show is pulling out the stops to ensure everybody's tastebuds are catered for.

At the heart of it all is the Gin Garden, which serves cocktails, craft beers and mellow tunes. Attendees are encouraged to meet up with mates at the Gin Garden stage to watch and listen to the sounds of Matt Gardiner, Freddy L and Tatum Holder, says the show.

It's an Outdoor Playground

The show says that attendees can stroll through its outdoor lanes, planning and shopping for their next wild getaway. A fresh world of adventure awaits outside at the show  — from rugged little off-roaders to adventure accessories, garden gadgets and 4x4 vehicles.

It's a Décor Delight

The East Coast Radio House + Garden Show 2024 has decor and designs, quick fixes and slow burns and colours you can taste, says the show. In 2024, the show hosts local and global design concepts, all collated for attendees to create a happy home. Individuals are encouraged to visit Discover KZN Design's stand, which features a hand-picked collective of artists, crafters and entrepreneurs, producing dynamic, world-class work.

The show says that it loves to showcase local, but global always gets a big look-in. Whether it’s demonstrators conjuring up international aromas, flavours and recipes in the Hirsch Test Kitchen, or the thrill of mind-blowing technology advances as Hirsch’s parades good-looking appliances and very cool gadgets.

The show concludes that it goes local too, with colour and decor trends in Plascon’s Showrooms, where the show put an up-and-coming interior design agency in the spotlight using two of the latest colour palettes.  It’s all about dreaming and scheming at the East Coast Radio House + Garden Show 2024 — and the show provides all the stuff of dreams!
