Surrounded by Dhesha Jeram (first princess) and Bianca Coutinho (second princess), Bokang’s obvious elation captured the hearts of thousands of Mzansi Magic viewers and enthusiastic Superbowl supporters.

Bokang, who currently resides in Honeydew Ridge, Johannesburg, runs a modelling and confidence school based in Auckland Park. She completed her final year in Public Relations and Corporate Communication at the University of Johannesburg in 2009. Montjane was Miss Earth South Africa 2007 and the Face of Soweto. Also, she represented South Africa in the 2009 Miss International pageant and was recently voted Face of Fashion at Eastgate this year.

The night’s electrifying entertainment was provided by top local musicians, including the Bala brothers, this year’s Idols winner, Elvis Blue, and runner-up, Lloyd Cele, as well as Brian Temba and song-and-dance trio, LaVuvuzela.

The pageant was hosted by Michelle McLean (Miss Universe 1992) and Channel O presenter, ProVerb, with red carpet commentary by former Miss SA, Tatum Keshwar.

The judges, Sonia Raciti-Oshry (Head Judge and former Miss SA), Kieno Kammies (Talk Radio 702 DJ), Paledi Segapo (Fashion Consultant), Sonia Booth (Former Miss SA Finalist), Asanda Sizani (Drum Magazine Fashion Editor) and Yolisa Phahle (M-Net’s Director: Special Interest Channels) had a difficult decision to make but were unanimous in their choice.
